THIS year's Hannover Industrial Fair, largest of its kind in the world, saw a record participation of Indian manufac-turers of non-traditional goods. A total of 32 Indian enterprises exhibited machine tools, hand tools, electro-techni-cal material and electronic components in four halls at Hannover, Most of the firms came to a West German fair for the first time. Their participation had been initiated by the Indo-German Ex-port Promotion Project which is Jointly sponsored by the Bonn and New Delhi Governments and executed by Engineer-ing Promotion Council (EEPC) and Plannungsruppe Ritter of Koenigstein, West Germany.
