THE Export Credit and Guarantee Corporation has had another good year. The number of guarantees in force increased from 1,326 at the end of 1969 to 1,578 at the end of 1970; the value covered rose from Rs 166 crores to Rs 208 crores, indicating an increase in the average value covered per guarantee. The main constituent of ECGC's business remains packing credit guarantee, which accounted for Rs 172 crores of business under 1,290 guarantees.
