Non National Labour in Africa

THE employment problem can be solved only by vigorous economic ex-pansion, and not by restricting the em-ployment of foreign workers, the Direc-tor-General of the Internal Labour Office says in a report to the fourth session ot the International Labour Organisation's African Advisory Committee to be held in Yaounde (Cameroon) from July 28 to August 6. The employment, status and conditions of non-national workers in Africa will be the first item on the Committee's agenda. The second will be the question of balanced urban and rural development
