Mixed Fare

Mixed Fare AFTER drifting idly most of the time, the stock market developed a distinctly soft tone near the weekend, and it moved quite close to the year's lowest point. The slightly improved tone discernible at times, earlier in the week, was due more to scarcity of offerings than to any significant revival of fresh support though certain cash shares did evoke fair attention.
