Nuclear Ships

OPERATING experience, commission-ing and maintenance of nuclear ships were among the topics discussed at the Symposium on Nuclear Ships which took place in Hamburg last month. More than 500 experts from 33 coun-tries took part in the Symposium, which was organised jointly by the Interna-tional Atomic Energy Agency, the In-ter-governmental Maritime Consultative Organization, the West German Govern-ment and German associations concern-ed with the operation of nuclear ships.
