Everything has stopped for the Supreme Court to pass judgment in the matter of the privy purses. Small wonder, then, that the re-shuffle of leading bureaucrats, much in the same style as the recent re-shuffle of ministers, has been given front page, headline coverage. Encouraged, the bureaucracy is now lobbying reporters and editors for 'human interest' coverage on the major characters of the drama.
