Tremors in Tamil Nadu C SUBRAMANIAM's resignation and disclosures have, of course, an all-India significance. But their importance for Tamil Nadu's politics should not be minimised. Subramaniam is not a powerful personality in his home State. But against the background of all-India developments the event is symptomatic of important changes, and in itself is not without paradox.
