August 9, 1969 New Buyer THE National Textile Corporation will emerge as the single largest buyer of cotton in the new season beginning with September. It intends to make bulk purchases of cotton at the beginning of each season so as to take advantage of its price and quality and then stock it for supplying later to the mills under authorised controllers. It has obtained necessary licence for dealing in cotton. Efficient purchases of cotton should go a long way in improving the working conditions of sick mills; cotton is the major item of cost in the production of yarn and cloth.
