NEW DELHI- No Consensus on Plan and Policy

December 7, 1968 IN Delhi last week interest was focused on investment and resource mobilisation. Problems related to resource mobilisation for the investment to be made during the Fourth Plan period were considered both by the Cabinet and the Standing Committee of the National Development Council, Meanwhile, at the non-official level, top officials were taking much trouble to explain to leading businessmen from India and abroad the climate for foreign investment in India and the steps Government has taken, and is taking, to make India sound for such investment.
