SOUTH Kerala on the Boil EVEN as the Union Government has begun the retreat from its earlier "constitutional" position that Nambood- iripad was being too openly disobedient, a variety of agitations have sprouted up in Kerala. The seriousness of these agitations should not be underestimated. They could be the prelude to another "operation overthrow" such as the one witnessed in 1959.
