I am afraid 1 do not agree with some of the statements contained in your article, nor with some of the apparent conclusions. For instance, the article seems to accept the mythical fact of complete decontrol from May 1967. In actual fact, there has been only decontrol of distribution, subject to certain priority requirements of Government. There has been no decontrol of prices, and the fact that price increases have been announced by the JPC does not alter the fact that such announcements are under a clear directive of the Ministry of Steel.
