BHUTAN-New Wind Blows Stronger

 The truth may be that both contestants are at this point a little afraid of the people with whom both may have been somewhat out of touch lately. Some learned theses on the outcome of the Krtshnagar by-election have already appeared; the figures collated are most impressive. It is still not explained why the United Front lost so valuable a parliamentary seat to thee Congress by so large a margin. In November or February, the mid-term election will be a very different kind of contest; Atulya Babu knows it, in spite of Krishnagar and Haryana, which may explain his appeal for time. But the West Bengal political scene today in its totality seems wholly incoherent which, one way or the other, cannot go without leaving its imprint on the total Indian scene
