The Company's gross profit before depreciation has slipped to Rs 1.10 crores from Rs 1,56 crores although sales have improved to Rs 20.43 crores from Rs 19.17 crores in 1964-65. The Company's net profit has amounted to Rs 45 lakhs against Rs 53 lakhs after providing Rs 22 lakhs (Rs 30 lakhs last year) for depreciation and Rs 43 lakhs (Rs 73 lakhs last year) for taxation.
