Contrasting Styles of Politics

Africa has been eventful. The contrasts in the style of politics in the three countries of East Africa have been highlighted by two important events. First, there was the judgment of the Constitutional Court of Uganda which decided that the Constitution which President Obote had introduced in April 1966 was valid. Then there was the nationalisation of banks in Tanzania.
