and through the United Nations, but to no purpose. It has tried a war and been checkmated. This, of course, leaves the situation as it was before the attack of Kashmir. For India this cannot be any consolation. For her part she has scrupulously observed the Tashkent Agreement and spirit of accommodation behind that Agreement. She has not aggressively pressed any claims to the so-called "Azad Kashmir" and is probably in a mood to let the present temporary division of Kashmir stay.
