Not Enough Rupee Resources THE ANNUAL REPORT of the Industrial Finance Corporation of India for the year ended June 30, 1966 brings out the growing role of financial institutions in supporting the industrial effort in the country. The gross sanctions of IFCI amounted to Rs 43.52 crores (of which guarantees for deferred payments accounted for Rs 2.78 crores) in 1965-66 against Rs 33.42 crores (Rs 1.82 crores for deferred payments) in 1964-65.
