Poor Tribute to Nehru

A Correspondent writes: THE FOUR-DAY International Round Table on Uawaharlal Nehru's Role in the Modern World' organised by the Unesco at Delhi from September 26 to September 30, 1966 was a unique event. It was the first time that Unesco had tried to identity it- seTT with the ideals and aspirations of an individual. The motivating idea must have been to draw the attention of the world community, particularly at this crucial period of world history, to the basic moral values on which any national or international order should be founded. It was but proper that Unesco, as "the conscience of the world community", should organise this Round Table.
