The Telco bonus issue of one for six failed to make an impression; the scrip closed lower than the quotation at the end of the previous week. Other corporate news, which remained on the whole good, also went unnoticed. Mukund Iron maintained the dividend; Bombay Dyeing and Hindustan Lever kept their interim dividends constant; Permanent Magnets reported better results for the first half of 1966. These announcements failed to animate the respective scrips.
