Position: Post-Doctoral Fellow (Associate Fellow)

 The selected Fellow will engage in research as part of the multi-country (Germany, Italy, Bolivia and India) project on social inequalities funded by the Volkswagen Stiftung.
 Conduct a systematic review of global literature on the inequality of opportunity (IOp) and poverty in economic dimensions
 Develop a methodological framework and identify a suitable set of indicators to study IOp and poverty in these dimensions.

Qualification & Experience:
 Must have completed PhD (or submitted dissertation) and have experience in research on social inequalities
 Trained in sociology/social anthropology with quantitative skills or trained in economics/development studies and is familiar with sociology/social anthropology

Duration: 1 year (extendable)
