Much besides valuable time has been lost in the preceding three years. Self-respect, confidence in ourselves, faith in a better future, these are in shambles. Yet, those who are still in the forenoon of life cannot accept defeat for they have a vested interest in the future. This generation cannot afford to let the weeds of stagnation grow undisturbed. What has happened has happened. The country is still intact, even if sprained in parts.
