India Health Policy and Systems Research Fellowships

Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR) is an emerging field that seeks to understand how health systems organise themselves to achieve health goals and how different actors interact in the policy and implementation process. The unique characteristics of HPSR is that it uses multi-disciplinary research to analyse health systems, looks at health systems from a complexity and equity lens and produces evidence that can be used by the policy makers and practitioners.
Overview of HPSR Fellowships
Initial 4-month online course, culminating in a week’s face 2 face workshop. Those who submit a strong proposal at the end of this workshop will be provided with a fellowship to implement their
research. During the research period, the selected applicants will be mentored by HPSR experts.
Who can Apply?
In service Indian health researchers with a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of research experience.
