Online Gods Ep 4: Rumours and the Agents of Ishq

In this episode, we speak with Irfan Ahmad about rumours and Paromita Vohra about the Agents of Ishq.

Irfan Ahmad is a Senior Research Fellow at The Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, Göttingen, Germany. Irfan Ahmad is the author of Islamism and Democracy in India (Princeton University Press, 2009) which was short-listed for the 2011 International Convention of Asian Scholars (ICAS) Book Prize for the best study in the field of social sciences.

Paromita Vohra is an Indian filmmaker and writer. Vohra conceptualised Agents of Ishq as a way to foster open-ended conversations about desire, freedom, gender, equality, and choice.
