%X to the Right. The lack of programmatic clarity on the part of MGR's following should not lead to any underestiuation of either its radicalism or the possibilities inherent in this radicalism. There can be no worthwhile Left and democratic unity in this state which does not take into its scope this vast and seething force. The polidealisation of this force, as of any other mass force, will take place through direct experience and the explication of this experience. Making sophisticated grimaces at it from the sidelines would not help. The stability and final shape of this trend are not matters of immediate concern.
