Project resettlement authorities usually try to settle displaced persons (DPs) on sites where they may be assured of a means of livelihood. But it takes the DPs from their often remote villages to the midst of outsider and official gaze. Is this why many DPs, especially tribals, reject the resettlement sites offered?
