KERALA-Dubious Development-Petrochemicals Complex at Cheemeni

intent for the proposed Rs 5,200 crore petrochemical complex at Cheemeni in Kasaragod district has been issued by the central government. The government of Kerala is understood to have signed an MoU with the Thaparia group of Mumbai for the establishment of Sree Krishna Petrochemical (SKPL) in February, The ministry of industries has been quite euphoric about the proposed company and had included it among the notable 'achievements' of the present government in recent ads.
